By May 30, 2017Uncategorized
I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day holiday and is ready for more autocross racing with the Trinity Touring Club!  Our third and fourth points races of the 2017 “Shasta AutoX Challenge Series” are this weekend, Saturday and Sunday June 3rd and 4th.  Saturday night is our “June Jam” BBQ starting after 6pm at the track.  Everyone is welcome!
Track setup is at 7pm on Friday – please come out and help us get the facility prepared for this weekend’s racing.  Troy Dewell is our Race Director and will bring us maps for setup. The gates will be open at 3:00pm on Friday for anyone wishing to bring in their R.V. and stay the weekend.
Gates open at 7:30am on Saturday and Sunday with driver’s meeting at 9am.  Entry fee is $30 for members and $35 for non-members each day.  If you have not autocrossed with us this year, this is a great weekend to try us out!  Please arrive early enough to complete your registration, safety inspection, and to walk the track.  Novice racers are welcome!
Our “June Jam” BBQ potluck is Saturday June 3rd after 6pm – bring a side dish, appetizer, or dessert and a chair!  The club will be providing the BBQ and non-alcoholic beverages.  This is not one to miss!  Always great food and great company.
Downtown Dogs will be serving lunch on Saturday – please support our vendor by bringing your appetite and a little extra cash!  The club will have cold water and shade on hand to beat the heat.
