Car Classifications
We use 2008 Sports Car Club of America rules and vehicle classifications.

The TTC Points and Rules Committee has agreed to the following new classes and rules for the 2008 Autocross Season:
Novice Class: Essentially stock cars, must pass safety inspection, DOT street tires only (no softer than 150
treadwear rating), "legal" tread depth, no points, no Pax, eligible for race day trophy (with 3 car minimum
in class), after three 1st place trophies no longer eligible for novice class.
Class NU: Novice with displacement of 2.5 liters or less and no boost
Class NO: Novice with displacement of 2.5+ liters or more and/or boost
Open Class: For entrants that don't want to run in a SCCA defined Class, Stock or Modified cars, must pass
safety inspection, any DOT approved tire (no softer than 150 treadwear rating), no points, no PAX, eligible
for race day trophy (with 3 car minimum in class), after three 1st place trophies no longer eligible for this class.
Class OU: Cars with displacement of 2.5 liters or less and no boost
Class OO: Cars with displacement of 2.5+ liters or more with or without boost
Entrants are also encouraged to study and consider the Open Classes currently available in SCCA rules. For
example : OSPO = Open class, Street Prepared, Over 2.5 ltr.
The Ladies Division has been eliminated, however there will be a year-end award based on points.
