Autocross Racing is a "competitive day with a fun atmoshpere"
At The Shasta Speedway in Anderson, CA

Q. What is Autocross?
A. Cars and trucks race one at a time on a challenging course set up with pylons to create sharp
turns and fun straights. A real test of driving skill!
Q. Who can race?
A. Any drivers 16 or over with a valid license. Bring a helmet (Snell '95 or newer), loaner
helmets available on a first come, first serve basis. Drivers under 18 must be accompanied by a
parent for any registrations and that parent must be present while the driver races. Passengers are
allowed and must be 12 or over.
Q. What type of vehicle can race?
A. Just about any street car, race car, truck or Kart. Stock height or lower. Must pass tech inspection.
No motorcycles. Vehicles vary from Mustangs to Escalades, Honda Civics to Corvettes, even full road
race cars!
Q. What are the race dates?
A. Events are on Sundays. Set up begins at 6:30am. Tech inspection at 7:30am. Gates close and racing starts at
9:00am. Some events are 2 days long, both Saturday and Sunday.

Q. What does it cost?
A. TTC Members: $30. Non-members: $35. (Per event).
Members who sign up for work assignments at the previous club meeting pay only $20 for the next autocross event.
Workers/members must arrive before 7am race day, work all day, and pick up at days end to get this discount.
